The 7 Sacred Rules at AllStar

At CrossFit AllStar we commit to live the following:

  1. I promise to do my best. My best will vary from day to day, minute to minute. But in that minute I will do my absolute best.
  2. If I can run, I run. If I have to walk, I walk. When I am forced to crawl, I crawl. Then I rest and live to fight another day.
  3. I may struggle, curse and cry but I will never quit.
  4. I will never criticize or beat myself up for what I can't do today. I will just try again tomorrow.
  5. I promise to believe in myself, beginning each workout with the thought that "I can do this!"
  6. I show up to my workouts because I am committed to my health. My commitment to health is an act of self-love.
  7. I acknowledge that my diet is the most important part of my program. The cleaner it is, the better I do.

What an awesome night it was to bring CrossFit to the Annual Girls Night Out event put on by the North Hawaii Community Hospital, held at Kanu o ka 'Aina this year. Laurie Edminson did an outstanding job planning and putting on this event which featured free admission, free health and wellness booths all night, free massages, hair, nails, breast cancer info, and our FUN CROSSFIT ALLSTAR booth!

‘Girls Night Out’The “Girls Night Out” event featured a variety of informational booths, contests, prizes, and services, such as free massages. KC Stallsmith, owner of CrossFit Allstar in Waimea, records how many steps a woman is able to make onto a platform in a minute time span, which enters her into a drawing for a prize. ..."K.C. Stallsmith, owner of CrossFit Allstar in Waimea, said she supported the event with a booth because she cares about women and helping them to stay healthy.

“A lot of women are intimidated to go to the gym,” she said. “People think that they can’t do it.”

With a simple 12-inch step, she showed visitors they could move for a one-minute interval, and have fun with support and friendship.

“They can do anything with drive and determination,” Stallsmith said.
