The 7 Sacred Rules at AllStar

At CrossFit AllStar we commit to live the following:

  1. I promise to do my best. My best will vary from day to day, minute to minute. But in that minute I will do my absolute best.
  2. If I can run, I run. If I have to walk, I walk. When I am forced to crawl, I crawl. Then I rest and live to fight another day.
  3. I may struggle, curse and cry but I will never quit.
  4. I will never criticize or beat myself up for what I can't do today. I will just try again tomorrow.
  5. I promise to believe in myself, beginning each workout with the thought that "I can do this!"
  6. I show up to my workouts because I am committed to my health. My commitment to health is an act of self-love.
  7. I acknowledge that my diet is the most important part of my program. The cleaner it is, the better I do.

Paleo Father's Day

Right: Fathers Day was complete this year with a trip camping at the beach. Josh found an old rusty metal car axle thing (although he wouldn't call it that) which he filled with Kiawe coals he burned down and made into a Hibachi. Grilled Shrimp, Chicken, and Big Island Beef was on the menu for our Father's Day by the beach where we camped and went snorkeling in the early morning hours. As close to a "Caveman" Father's Day as we could get I'd say!

Below: I am catching up on some web postings of white board results. Not a lot of pics but your results are there. Make sure you log them in your workout journal!!!

CrossFit Football

I'll be at the CrossFit Football seminar this weekend but you are in good hands with our coaches. I'll be back Tues. evening. Why CrossFit Football? Well, put simply I want to learn more about training people/teams for power. I hope to gain more knowlege about skills, drills, accessory movements, as well as more knowledge about major lifts. I know this course will beneift me personally, which will benefit our whole box, as well as the HPA teenagers as part of their after school athletics program.
