Saturdays at our box...
Each Saturday we provide a unique opportunity to get to know some one just a little bit more in the gym. Partner workouts are awesome because you end up working a lot harder and with more intensity than when you perform a wod on you own. Plus it's way more FUN and usually more motivation to do your best. Gotta keep each other honest with our movements, right?
Last Saturday was no different. While partner #1 performed the work load for a round, partner #2 held a medicine ball over head, arms straight and locked out. Read the rules at the end of this post....
This not only provided a great workout, but as a coach it was also wonderful entertainment for me. The comments these athletes made to each other should not be repeated here...just imagine holding something heavy over you head while you're wait for your partner to do work. It get's interesting.

High knees outsite w/ change of direction
Resisted Runs w/ partner

AMRAP in 30 min – Team WOD
15 Squats w/MB
While teammate #1 is working, #2 is holding their MB overhead. Once #1 starts their round #2 must hold MB even if #1 takes a break! Held position is arms straight. If #2 bends their arms from the locked position #1 must pause their round!
