The 7 Sacred Rules at AllStar

At CrossFit AllStar we commit to live the following:

  1. I promise to do my best. My best will vary from day to day, minute to minute. But in that minute I will do my absolute best.
  2. If I can run, I run. If I have to walk, I walk. When I am forced to crawl, I crawl. Then I rest and live to fight another day.
  3. I may struggle, curse and cry but I will never quit.
  4. I will never criticize or beat myself up for what I can't do today. I will just try again tomorrow.
  5. I promise to believe in myself, beginning each workout with the thought that "I can do this!"
  6. I show up to my workouts because I am committed to my health. My commitment to health is an act of self-love.
  7. I acknowledge that my diet is the most important part of my program. The cleaner it is, the better I do.

CrossFit Football Weekend!

-Written by KC

Photo share from my travels to get my CrossFit Football Trainer Certification at CrossFit Oahu

Most of you may, or may not know I was the first girl to be on my High School Football team at St.Anthony Jr. Sr. High School on Maui. From a young age I fell in love with training, with the idea of getting better at anything. Football training, lateral movement, change of direction drills, all these things excite me greatly and I had a killer weekend adding to my knowledge about how to train for sport, and for the constantly varied demands of CrossFit.

Kapolei Strength and Conditioning

Photo Right: Left, Professional football player John Welbourn created CrossFit Football in 2008 and is is a CrossFit Level 2 instructor. Center, lil me. Right: Ben Oliver course instructor. I leaned a ton about athletic stance, and performance as well as programming for power sport and muscle gain.

Top and Below: Kapolei Strength and Conditioning powered by CrossFit Ewa Beach. Noel and Se are awesome people and I LOVE that their baby is all part of the scene over there!!! We are looking forward to competing in their grand opening even in their NEW HUMONGOUS space this weekend! I know it will be fun and we will learn a ton.

Below: A visit to CrossFit 808 was a blast! Again cute babies seem to be the theme at my favorite gyms. Coach Joe was outstanding and supported me to PR my banch press that morning! I met an athlete named Brandy who really impressed me (below left) and was inspired by Coach Elyse's 'BOX RULES' she has hanging in her gym. SUPER! Gotta say I'm gonna use that in my box Elyse!
