CrossFit Kids celebrated 2 birthdays last week!

Ford Stallsmith turned 10 and Koai'a May is now 8 years old!!! They each picked their own birthday wods at Allstar.Rope Climb

The 30 day theme: Rope Climb,  has turned out to be a great idea. Practicing the rope climb, every day, in every class, for 30 days is no doubt going to launch some people up the rope. Above: Layne gets closer to the top every day, and has acquired skills and confidence she never thought possible.

Right: Robyn made her way to the top of the rope, and you can see her erasing that goal off the goal board. THAT'S what I like to see!!!!

Workout of the Day

Warm Up:

Run 800m

5min. Rope ascents & Handstand practice

Burgener Warm Up

Skill:

Hang power snatch 3-3-3-3-3 reps

WOD (Met-con):

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:

18 Box jumps, 24" box

15 Toes to bar

12 Pull-ups
