10/11/12 Flexibility Test

Thursday Skill Test

Today was a flexibility test. Position yourself in a seated position with legs extended against a wall, with blocks in front of the feet, we used our yoga blocks. Make sure the back of your legs are pressed to the ground and bend forward at the waist. Reach 2 times and measure the distance you reach beyond your feet, if any.

Then for fun, stand up and hang out in a forward bend for 1 minute or so, lengthening and stretching the hamstrings. Then re-test. Most people gained 2-4 inches on their flexibility test!
