Super Saturday
Like most Saturday classes here at CrossFit AllStar in Waimea, Hawaii...today we delivered a partner WOD like no other! Afterwords we took the kids to Dana Ching's parent's Christmas tree Farm, Fair Olen Farm at the top of Kaloko. The farm is literally the very last house at the top of Kaloko Drive in Kona, owned by Ed Fair & Janet Olen (808)325-7490. Dana & husband Kalani are athletes here at AllStar (Dana is in the picture at right tossing a ball to Cindy in the sit up portion of the workout) so it was fun to meet their parents and check out where Dana grew up and raised her kids Jevin & Holden who also have trained here! Check it out:

Our Christmas Tree adventure!
I felt good about getting a tree that was grown right here on Big Island, for this specific purpose. They plant 2 trees for each tree they cut and have a nice little farm there! (It's kind of secret, they don't do any advertising just word of mouth but they run a great little business) It was especially fun to let the kids pick out there tree and be there, it was an event for us, and the memories will last a lifetime!
