4/10/12 CrossFit Kids Make Fitness FUN!

CrossFit Kids is a braod, general, inclusive form of fitness wrapped up in fun! Almost always the kids have no idea they are actually working out, they just want to keep going!!! See below for Koai'a's 500 Sit Ups!

After class today, Ford and Koai'a wouldn't stop doing sit ups! It has been a goal of Della's to do 100 Sit Ups in a row without stopping (this is their language for 'unbroken' movement) so the whole class tried it to help support Della! Ford ended up doing 400 and Koai'a did 500 in a row all by choice!!!

Workout of the day: Adults having fun with Tabatas!

Warm Up:

Run 800m.

Dodgeball 3 min. non-dominant hand play

Handstand practice 3 min. focus on Hollow Body position

Strength:

Find your 1 Rep. Max Weighted Pull Up

WOD:

"Tabata Something Else"

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

Score is total reps from all 32 intervals.
