9/6/12 Record Breaking Thursdays!

Thursday Records

We've started collecting data and personal records on Thursdays and today was the Standing Broad Jump. The kids class (pictured at right) measures their jumps which had the longest being Bradley's at 6'1", and Fords at 6'4". In the adult classes we had records made by Jared of 8', Josh 8'2", and Danny at 8'3". There were spirited efforts made by ALL!

Below: Brooke points to her proof that she actually did 100 burpees today, a BIG accomplishment! She also did her first handstand in the middle of the room today! She had a day to be proud of for sure.

Workout of the Day

Warm Up:

Dodgeball 3 min.

Dynamic Stretches

Skill:

Freestanding Handstand

*Pre-requisite:

-Walk Up Wall

-Handstand at wall

-Middle of room with partner

-Solo Freestanding

Record of the Day: Find you max standing Broad Jump

Strength:

Back Squat 3 X 5 (+-5#)

Conditioning WOD:

100 Burpees

*1 Rope Ascent at the top of each minute till 100 burpees are accumulated.

*Sub 10 Ring Rows if not going up the rope.

*Novice scale to 50 burpees.
