Blake pretty much summed up how today went at the gym, please read his thoughtful share below. 14 people made PRs on their 1RM Deadlift!
Today was a day of inspiration for me...Had new visitors from Ohio n got to partner up with Tony for 1RM of deadlift n with his support I got my new PR of 275...Thank u Tony from ohio because just a simple phrase of support keeps me going n he really supported through the whole class.Its pretty amazing how a guy from Ohio can bring forth confidence in myself n just witness a new personal record...he is an awesome guy with a wonderful family!!! Through it all I've tried to stay away from heavy loading because I was truly scared of re-hurting my back again from an injury from college, but since I started crossfit I have noticed my back has been getting stronger with safety being #1 in the box i have become comfortable n brought my fitness level to the highest it's ever been. The fear of lifting heavy has been with me since i started and I never told a soul because I'm still lifting scared and didn't want to admit that its a mental block i have but today I had a personal triumph of going more and everything went great n got a new PR(50lbs more)...another day of being happy n just enjoying life!!!I did it and I feel a simple moment like this helps me to achieve more and know that I can improve everyday!!!Fearless n Unbreakable is the new words in my mind!!!-Blake
