Take Heed to Life's Little Instruction Book Rule #49:

Buy vegetables from truck farmer's who advertise with hand-lettered signs.

Saturday Mornings= CrossFit AND Farmers Markets in Waimea/Kamuela!

Roen and Ken Hufford of Honopua Farms sells their produce at the far right side of the Hawaiian Homestead Farmers Market every Satruday starting when the sun comes up.

These white radishes are so wonderful you can eat them raw like an apple.

Jerry McGregor sells his produce right on the side of the road where he maintains a local property. You can also find Jerry during the week in the mornings at the local Starbucks ready for a laugh and some good conversation.

There is also a Farmers market at Parker School every Saturday with great produce, wonderful food, and local crafts.

Final Product

For only $40 bucks, I get a HUGE amount of produce on Saturdays. If i'm lucky, when I get home Josh makes killer paleo omlates for us all. Here is one of his most current creations with all produce from the local farmers markets, organic eggs, turkey, collard greens, green onion, zuccini, avocoado and salsa. Yummmm!
